Grafton Music Packs The Park

Performances have been held all summer starting June 7 and continued until this Thursday, Aug. 9. Grove Memorial Park is located at the corner of Market and Main streets in Grafton.

Mayor Rick Eberlin said there will also be a makeup date. “The weather was great and seeing more and more total strangers.,” Eberlin said. “We had one of the best crowds of the season this Thursday. We are tickled to death Carla Newton does an exceptional job of getting the bands and does phenomenal work.”

This past week, The Owlz Band, a classic rock group, performed.

This week, the “Rock-a-billy Revival will perform. The group is heavily influenced by Elvis, Johnny Cash and Marty Robbins. The family band cuts go from the rockabilly age of the 1950s.
