Jersey Fights But Loses To Gillespie

Gillespie took a 4-0 lead through three innings against Jerseyville, but Post 493 rallied to pull to 4-2 through four innings but couldn’t get any closer and dropped a 7-3 decision to fall into the loser’s bracket. 

Darr took the loss for Jerseyville, going four innings and conceding four runs (three earned) while striking out four and walking two. Carey was 1-for-3 for Jerseyville, with Collins 1-for-3 with a triple, Q. Snider and E. Snider both 1-for-2 (with E. Snider recording an RBI) and Wagner going 1-for-3 for the game.
