Abby Manns paced the Panthers with 19 points.The Panthers improved to 9-3 on the season while the Kahoks tumbled to 4-8.
Clare Breden added 16 points JCHS and Brooke Tuttle had seven; Collinsville was led by Venise Govan's 14 points.
Jersey head coach Kevin Strebel said his team unloaded his bench in the Collinsville game, which was good with their invitational tourney coming next week and many games scheduled.
He also said his team’s free throw shooting was a key against Collinsville.
“We hit 68 percent of our free throws, which was a turning point,” he said. “We are going to being playing four times in three days next week, so we will have to use our bench.”
Jersey hosts its girls holiday tournament next week.
