Southwestern Ends Season With A Joyful But Tearful End For Seniors
"The Piasa Birds did not make the playoffs, but the boys came to win on Friday and it showed", said Southwestern coach Aaron Fricke.
Southwestern ended with a 3-6 overall mark.
“Gillespie has a phenomenal sophomore quarterback, but our kids stayed focused and didn’t take anything for granted,” Fricke said. “The boys wanted to end on a positive note and didn’t roll over.”

Colton Bachman had 3 catches for 45 yards and a touchdown, and Little had 2 catches for 44 yards. Justin Bailey had 4 catches for 68 yards.
