Jersey head volleyball coach Bob Siemer was glad to see his girls rebound from a tough loss to Triad against Calhoun. “Sometimes when we go down south in Valley we get intimidated, but when we play here, we feel a lot more comfortable at home.,” he said. “We played well tonight and the fans were into it."
Calhoun coach Kerry Lorton said, "We have switched our lineup around trying to get good hitters. We have solid defense in the back. When we play together, we play well, but we weren’t that together tonight.”
The Panthers are scheduled to close out their regular season against Civic Memorial at home this evening.
