Highland - Jersey's football team met perhaps the strongest opponent of the season in Highland and the Bulldogs prevailed 42-7.

Highland has dominated every opponent so far this season and should go far in the playoffs.

Jersey falls to 1-3 overall and 0-1 in the Mississippi Valley Conference with the loss. Jersey scored on a 33-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Drew Sauerwein to receiver Blake Wittman late in the game for the final score of 42-7.

Sauerwein was a multi-purpose athlete in the game with 42 yards rushing and was 17 of 29 passing for 149 yards and two touchdowns.
