Wife, Mother, Teacher and Now A Beauty Queen

At night and through the summer, she is a devoted mother to her four children and wife to her husband, Jeff.

Now, she has picked up something else that helps occupy time in her life as the reigning Mrs. Illinois-United States queen. Andrea lives in rural Medora with her family and she said it is uncommon for someone from Southern Illinois to win in a pageant of this magnitude, and is justifiably proud of that. Andrea became Mrs. Illinois on April 1, her birthday. “It was a great birthday present,” she said.

Andrea can be seen participating in various parades, including the recent Jersey County Fair Parade and Shipman Picnic Parade. She commended her husband and family for being supportive of her through the entire pageant process and the travel involved. Her biggest goal she said it to make everyone in Southern Illinois and the state proud of her time as queen. “I just want to be a good role model and do a good job representing Southern Illinois,” she said.
