Carrollton Football Lineup Full of Experienced Players

Carrollton Hawks Coach Nick Flowers

Coach Nick Flowers has had tremendous success at the helm of the Hawks and he always works to have the team in top-notch shape with his stellar coaching staff. The Hawks are coming off a 7-4 overall season last year and a tie for WIVC South title. Stars Jerrett Smith and Wade Prough have graduated from last year’s team.

Nick’s nephew, Hunter Flowers, a 6-foot-1 sophomore player, will likely be a force for the Hawks at quarterback. Receiver Alex Bowker will be Flowers’ favorite target at the receiver position. He had an impressive 41 catches for 846 yards last season. Cameron Pennell should also be a favorite receiver of the quarterback for the Hawks.

Junior Byron Holmes should see a lot of action at the tailback position in place of Smith; Prough was the quarterback a year ago. Nathan Walker and Zach Flowers should also carry the ball, along with Brett Lehr and Tyler Barnett.

Ethan Newingham, Emmett Harrelson, Nathan Leonard and Logan Shaw are key line returnees for the Hawks.

Carrollton players start a mile run after Coach Flowers gave his team times to beat for a mile run or face pushups if they failed.

Carrollton player was told if he could beat last person in from mile run that Coach Flowers would do ten pushups. This is the scene immediately before Coach Flowers hit the ground to do them.
