Jerseyville Legion Juniors Drop Two Games to Alton

ALTON – Alton American Legion Post 126 took a twin bill from Jerseyville by 6-0, 14-1 scores on Saturday.

 Cullen McBride was the winning pitcher in the first game and Dylan Lahue was the key on the mound with Bryce Parrish in game two. Ryan Best led all Alton hitters in the double-header and Kyle Kahl topped the Jerseyville batters. 

Jerseyville drops to 4-5 and traveled Sunday to Kirkwood, MO., for a double-header. Jerseyville vs. Kirkwood story and image gallery is also on greatriversmedia.com

Alton hosts Valmeyer on Monday evening at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. The Jerseyville Senior Legion team plays Alton at conclusion of Valmeyer game at SIUE.
