JERSEYVILLE - Jersey’s girls slipped past Civic Memorial 3-2 in a big Mississippi Valley Conference win for the Panthers on Monday at Jersey. Maggie Collins, Peyton Tisdale, Kaylee Griggs, Libby Mu
ensterman and Ashleigh Trochuck each had hits for Jersey. Collins had two RBIs. Bethany Muenstermann got the win, scattering five hits and striking out five for the Panthers. Jersey visits Brussels at 4:30 p.m. today and hosts Waterloo at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. Jersey imposes to 15-6 overall and 2-3 in the MVC with the win, CM falls to 7-12, 0-6 in the MVC.
