Bethany Muenstermann led the Panthers with a 3-for-3 day with three doubles, three RBIs and a run scored; Hannah Tonsor was 1-for-3 with a triple, two RBIs and a run scored, Chelsea Maag 1-for-3 with a homer, RBI and run scored and Ashton Tewell 2-for-3 with two runs scored.for the Panthers. Muenstermann held the Hawks to four hits, one coming from Hannah Krumweide, who was 1-for-3 on the day; Carly Pyatt, Claire Williams and Abby Gilmore also had hits for the Hawks. Grace Sturgeon took the loss.
Jersey is scheduled to play at Belleville East in an 11 a.m doubleheader today, then hosts Highland at 4:30 p.m. Monday and visits Triad at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday.
