Panthers Fall to Indians
Jersey Softball Scoreless against Mascoutah
to Mascoutah in a Mississippi Valley Conference game Wednesday at Jerseyville.
The Panthers dropped to 12-4 on the season and is 1-2 now in the MVC. Mascoutah improves to 11-9 overall and 2-2 in the MVC.
Mascoutah scored on a double steal in the first inning and had only two hits in the game. Jersey pitcher Bethany Muenstermann, as usual, was stellar on the ground. She was the losing pitcher for the Panthers, despite Mascoutah only getting two hits.
Carrollton travels to Jersey on Friday, then the Panthers travel to Belleville East on Saturday.
