WHITE HALL - Carrollton’s girls cruised to a 10-3 softball win over cross-town rival North Greene on Monday night at White Hall.
Hannah Krumwiede again led the Hawks, going 3-5 with a double and two RBI. Carley Pyatt also had two doubles, three RBI and Claire Williams had two hits, including a home run and two RBI for the Hawks.
Emmie Struble was the winning pitcher, tossing a six-hitter and striking out eight; Megan Roberts was the losing pitcher for North Greene, allowing nine hits.
“North Greene is a tough, young team and they made us work for a win,” said Carrollton girls coach Amy Struble.
