Food Truck Fest A Hit At Alton Riverfront

    ALTON - The Alton Food Truck Festival was a big success with a crowd into the thousands on Saturday at the Liberty Bank Alton Amphitheater.   [image1

Alton Mayor Brant Walker was pleased with the day's attendence and said weather-wise it was a perfect day.

Walker also said the relatively new but extremely popular festival is another way the Amphitheater has impact on the City of Alton with this event, concerts and much more.

This was the third year for the Food Truck Festival, which has grown each year with more than 12 food trucks participating.

This festival featured food trucks from around the region offering global street food cuisine. In addition, the amphitheater’s concession team offers beverages of all types to compliment the food truck offering. Live music will be showcased on the amphitheater stage featuring regional band Honeyvox.

The Alton Food Truck Festival was free to the general public. Each food truck had a different food offering with a range of prices.
